Alberta de Ornelas

With great sorrow we announce that Alberta Zamora de Ornelas, widow of Jesus Ornelas passed away on Sunday September 30th in Salt Lake City, surrounded by family; she was 95.\r\n\r\nBorn on April 13th,1923 in Jalisco, Mexico. She was the youngest and last surviving child of Teodoro and Epigmenia Zamora, preceded in death by 16 siblings.\r\n\r\nShe had 3 children. Her youngest son Jaime Ornelas preceded her in death and is survived by her eldest son Javier Ornelas, daughter Esther Ornelas, 11 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews. She was the Matriarch of our family, we loved her dearly and she will be greatly missed.\r\n\r\nFor family and friends that would like to accompany us, a vigil will be held at Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary on Friday October 5th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. With the Funeral Mass at the Cathedral of the Madeleine on Saturday October 6th at 11:00am, and interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery directly after. We will be praying a Novena for the repose of her soul starting Sunday October 7th at 7:30pm at La Hacienda Grill on 797 North Redwood Road.\r\n\r\nEternal Rest Grant unto her o Lord, and let your perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God, Rest in Peace. Amen\r\n\r\n
