Diane Ilene Valdez\r\n10/06/79 - 02/09/17\r\nDiane was born in Murray, Utah to Alice Martinez and Jerry Valdez. Diane was a very loving and caring woman who lived life without judging others for their life choices. Diane awaited the day when she would meet her precious Valentino again in heaven. Unfortunately, our loss & sorrow may be her delight as she is free of all the struggles she had here on earth. Those of us, who loved Diane, know that she battled more than one demon in this life, and we are comforted in knowing that she has been set free. \r\nDiane is preceded in death by her son Valentino, sister Fauna, and grandparents. She is survived by Marcelino (Monica), Valencia, Melia, and grandson Marcelino Jr. Parents Alice Martinez and Jerry (Vanesa) Valdez. Brother Jerry (Andrea) Valdez. Sisters Jeri Ann Allen, Veronica (Keisha) Valdez, Brandy (Mack) Valdez. God parents Ilene Valdez and Willie Valdez. Many nieces, nephews, and loved ones. \r\nA viewing will be held Thursday 2/16/17 at Neil O\'Donnell & Sons Mortuary 372 East 100 South in Salt Lake from 6:00-7:00 p.m. A vigil service will begin at 7:00p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 2/17/17 at Saint Patrick Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. 1040 West 400 South. Committal Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery 4th Ave. & T Street at the conclusion of the mass. A celebration of Diane\'s life will follow services on Friday afternoon. \r\n
