Franklin (Frank) Hert Burleson age 94. Born May 15, 1926 in Hereford Texas has passed away peacefully at home in West Valley Utah On January 20, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Preceded in death by his faithful wife Velma, son Jeff, son in law Brian Boehme, grandsons Zachary Boehme and Zachery Jones. Survived by his daughter Michelle Boehme her partner James Jones, daughter and son in law Barbara and David Hartung and Jeff’s wife Michelle Burleson, 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Frank served proudly in WWII with the 39th Infantry division in Europe. He was awarded the Good conduct medal, EAME Campaign ribbon with 2 bronze stars, OCC Medal for Germany. Frank received a computer science degree from SLCC in 1964. He was employed by Hercules Aerospace in the computer lab for many decades until his retirement. His family was so proud of their “Rocket Scientist”. Frank was loved for his teasing sense of humor and was a devoted Catholic and a Prayer Warrior. His intelligence was profound and he could design and build just about anything, including a second story to his family’s one story home. He loved unconditionally with his entire soul. Although Frank lived a very long and fulfilling life his absence is deeply felt by all who knew him. We should all be so lucky to have a Frank in our lives. He would always say he was “Fine and Dandy” and Let’er RIP! A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Francis Xavier Church, Saturday January 30th at 11:00 am sharp, arrive early. Located at: 4501 West 5215 South, Kerns Utah. Cremation under the care of Neil O’Donnell Funeral Home.
