Mildred Hymel, age 102, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021, in Murray, Utah. She was born on June 2, 1919, in Red Lodge, Montana to Charles and Eva Grubisich. She was married to John Hymel, Sr. She was a long-time parishioner of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Parish Church. She is survived by son John (Ruth) Hymel, Jr. of Herriman, Utah; daughter, Theresa Hymel of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Juanita Pennock (Gary), Pinedale, Wyoming; four grandchildren, Krystal Crnich, Melissa Igel, Brian Hymel, and Jessica Tamayo; four step-grandchildren, Tyler Baxter, Bryce Baxter, Lindsey Baxter, and Troy Baxter; seventeen great-grandchildren, four great, great grandchildren and several nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband John and sisters Catherine and Mary. Funeral services will be conducted at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Parish Church, 1375 E. Spring Lane, Salt Lake City, Utah on Monday, October 4, 2021. Services will begin with the recitation of the Rosary at 9:30 a.m., followed by a viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Murray City Cemetery, 5490 So. Vine Street, under the care of Neil O‘Donnell Funeral Home. Mildred requested that in lieu of flowers, donate to any charitable organization that serves the poor and under privileged.
