Anna Marie Martinez's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Anna Marie Martinez.
Anna Marie Martinez, age 66, passed away on February 21st, 2026, at St. Mark's Hospital due to medical complications. She was born on November 20th, 1959 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Frances Zamora and Teofilo Aguilar. She was married to Allen Martinez on August 1st, 1981 in Stansbury Park, Utah.
Anna Martinez, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, beloved daughter, and dear sister, passed away peacefully surrounded by love. Anna was the heart of her family — a caring, hardworking woman with a firecracker personality that filled every room with energy and warmth.
Her greatest pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She was their biggest supporter, never missing a sporting event, ceremony, or milestone. No accomplishment was too small for Anna to celebrate; she was proud of each one to the fullest and made sure her family knew it.
Anna shared a beautiful life with the love of her life, Allen, who is completely lost without her. Their bond was deep, enduring, and filled with devotion.
She treasured her trips to Wendover and Las Vegas with her sisters and brothers, creating memories full of laughter and adventure. Anna loved the outdoors — camping under the open sky, hosting and attending family BBQs, grilling steak or carne asada, and bringing everyone together. Music was always close to her heart, especially New Mexico Spanish music, which she loved to listen to and dance to with joy.
Family meant everything to Anna. She adored spending time with her many nieces and nephews and held a special place in her heart for her New Mexico family. She loved when they came to visit and cherished every opportunity to travel back to New Mexico to see them.
Anna lived her life with kindness and integrity. She never did wrong to anyone and always led with love. Her passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Martinez, daughters; Christina Aguilar and Rosita Martinez. Granddaughters; Alexandria, Nizhoni, Heaven Lee, Haelow, Haelee. Grandsons; Juan Jr., Aizon, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Dayton. Her mother Frances Aguilar. Brothers; Rick, Felipe, Teofilo Jr. Sisters; Lisa and Linda, numerous sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
She is now reunited with her beloved son Julian and her father Teofilo. Though our world will never be the same without her, her love, strength, and vibrant spirit will live on in all of us.
Anna will be forever missed, forever loved, and forever remembered.
