Going to Caputo's is always like going to the veritable candy store--delicious anticipation of what wonders you will find. And especially wonderful to me is the time I was approaching the door only to have it opened by Tony on his way out. His smile and greeting was big enough for the whole world, though he didn't even know me. He was an incredible blessing to our city. My heart goes out to his family for their unimaginable loss.
Mary and family, I am deeply saddened for youy loss. Tony and I were pals a long time ago. He was one of the great guys to know, Im going to miss him.
Loved the picture video, especially Tony cuddling the roast and the grandkids with the Tony cutouts, LOL.

We live in Atlanta GA and before the pandemic we would visit Salt Lake City 3 times per year. We would always stop by Caputo's on arrival and before departure to get the wonderful food prepared at Caputo's. It was an extra special visit when Tony was there and we would talk about Mill Creek Canyon. The world was a better place because of his presence.
What a great "GUY"...May you rest in Peace...and when you get time rearrange GOD'S kitchen.

The world just lost a great man. Tony is one of the best men I’ve ever met. I’ve never met anyone who didn’t like Tony . Never met anyone who didn’t speak highly of him. On more than one occasion I’ve commented to friends that Tony’s the kind of man I d like to be like. He treated everyone the same no matter who they were. Tony was a very positive person and always made people around him feel good. He brought out the best in people. He was intelligent, funny, generous, and kind. I met Tony through doing business with him but I always thought of him as a friend. He always made me feel like I was a friend. I will miss you Tony! Thank you for being such a great example to me. My condolences to the Caputo family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. 😀
