Ben Carrillo's Obituary
August 6, 1928 - December 26, 2018\r\n Ben Carrillo, Age 90 passed away peacefully at home in Salt Lake City on December 26, 2018, surrounded by his family.\r\nBorn August 6, 1928, in Greenhorn, New Mexico, the son of Martin Carrillo and Mariquita (Casaus) Carrillo. Ben spent most of his life in Salt Lake City, Utah where he met and married Angelina Sanchez and raised eight children.\r\nBen proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War. His strong work Ethic led him to a long and successful career in the maintenance profession.\r\nBen Is survived by his wife of 65 years, Angelina (Sanchez) Carrillo; siblings, Olivia Gallegos (Lee), Ernie Carrillo, Rita Hall, Levi Carrillo (Pat), and John Carrillo (Ida); children, Kathryn Medina (Keith), Lari Chapman, Debra Casey (Patrick), Mae Palacios (Juan), Ted A. Carrillo, Richard Carrillo, Michelle Carrillo, and Jeffrey Carrillo, 26 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and close friends.\r\nA memorial service celebrating Ben's life will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 30th, at Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, Salt Lake City. A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 31st, at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Ave. and 'T' Street. \r\n
