She married Robert H. Kelly in San Diego, California on November 16, 1945. Robert preceded her in death on October 17, 1986.\r\n\r\nDorothy was born and raised on a farm in Frazee, Minnesota. After graduating from Frazee High School Dorothy moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota where she met her future husband who was attending a naval aviation school during World War II. She worked for Minnesota Honeywell. During the time Bob was in the Navy Dorothy relocated several times between San Diego, CA and Tacoma WA until they made their final home in Salt Lake City. Professionally, Dorothy at Unisys Corporation in 1989 as supervisor.\r\n\r\nDorothy loved to remodel and "makeover" her home. It was not uncommon that when Bob was stationed outside of the country the kids were given the task to "remove a wall or two" so that he could rebuild an area to her specifications upon his return. Later in life she enjoyed watching her children remodel or build their own homes living vicariously through the shared family stories and experiences. Time spent with family was precious to her. She felt blessed to have grandchildren and great-grandchildren.\r\n\r\nDorothy leaves behind four children Mary Patricia (Paul) Domyancic, Michael Patrick (Martha) Kelly, Kathleen Ann Kelly, and Timothy John (Laura) Kelly.
