Jody L. Marrelli's Obituary
Our dear brother passed way January 18, 2023 at the Intermountain Medical Center after a sudden and brief illness.
He was born May 8, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Joseph L. Marrelli and Aurelia B. Helmann Marrelli.
Jody enjoyed his many years working at the Sears Appliance Repair Center, Salt Lake City in a variety of positions and retired after more than 20 years. Jody was quite a character and always had some interesting and humorous jokes or comments. He was very witty and charming and was a fantastic cook. He learned to cook from his mother and could make Italian and other dishes that were as good as hers.
Jody graduated from Judge Memorial Catholic High School in 1972 and attended the University of Utah studying fine arts. Jody was very artistic and creative and produced many imaginative and unique art works.
He was the youngest of three brothers and is survived by his brothers Anthony (Susan), Randy (Nora) and his niece Jennifer, her son Roman, and his nephews Nicholas (Elaine) and Joseph (Kate).
He was preceded in death by his parents and niece Gina.
A private family interment will be held at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Jody’s behalf to the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
