Adam Jeffry Mower's Obituary
Mada's Gone Fishing
Adam Jeffry Mower (Mada), a profoundly kind, loving, compassionate, brilliant, and witty soul with an unbreakable smile, passed away on February 4th at the age of 41.
From his earliest days, Adam carried a light that drew people in. As a baby and throughout his life, his face was rarely without a smile—he had a genuine, infectious happiness that made those around him feel loved and valued. That warmth defined him. Adam remained deeply kind, thoughtful, and compassionate, always offering empathy, support, and quiet understanding to those he cared about. His sharp intelligence and quick wit brought laughter and insight to conversations, often lighting up moments with clever observations or playful humor that reflected his bright mind.
Adam was a true animal lover, finding profound joy in the company of pets and showing endless affection and care for creatures great and small. He was an avid reader, losing himself in books that sparked his imagination and curiosity. Gaming brought him excitement and escape, and he had a special passion for anime, delighting in its stories, characters, and artistry that resonated with his gentle spirit.
In his younger years, Adam found great joy in the outdoors, particularly fly fishing. He loved the peaceful rhythm of casting on a river, the connection to nature, and the simple serenity it brought.
He also delighted in camping in the stunning red rock landscapes of Moab, Utah—sitting by a campfire, soaking in the vast desert beauty, and finding peace under starry skies. Those trips captured a side of Adam that felt truly at home in nature’s quiet embrace.
Adam lived with an open heart and a gentle spirit that touched everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for the way he made people feel—seen, cared for, uplifted by his constant smile, his unwavering kindness, and the clever spark of his wit that always left a lasting impression.
Adam is survived by his loving mother, Donna Rader Mower; his father, Jeff Mower; his brothers, Joel Mower, Ryan (Risa) Peterson; his niece, Sierrah Mower; his nephews, Treyce Soros, Tyas Soros, and Sebastian Mower; his aunts and uncles, Pattie (Jim) Rickers, Steve Rader, and Joe (Cathy) Mower; his cousins, Jerome (Kristel) Rickers, Tiva Rickers, Miranda Lindgren and her Fiancé, Rock, Derik (Jessica) Lindgren, Kassidy (Junior) Gracia, Chris Mower, Jennifer Mower, Sara Rader, Vanessa Rader, and Heather Mower; his first cousins, Sonja Preciado, Tage Rickers, and Shiloh Bowman; and many great friends who loved him dearly.
