Albert J. Garcia\r\nOur beloved father, grandfather ,brother and uncle. Our MARINE, Albert Joe Garcia passed away early March 6, 2018. At home surrounded by his family.\r\nAlbert was born November 19, 1946 in Price, Utah to Liberto and Francis Rivera Garcia.\r\nA Lance Corporal for the 3rd Battalion ninth marine. Albert was awarded three purple hearts medals for wounds received in Vietnam. He participated in three major operations during his 11 month tour. Upon his return home to Salt Lake City , he married Violet Lucille Jones. Albert retired from the Tesoro oil refinery after 32 years of dedicated service.\r\nHe will be greatly missed by his three children, Frances (Dennis) Garcia-Vigil, Wayne (Annabel) Garcia, and Kenyon Garcia. Twelve grandchildren, One great grandson, and his sister Margaret Castro. Preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother Joe Manuel.\r\nA vigil service will be held Thursday March 8th at 7pm were friends and family may visit one hour prior. A Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday March 9th at 10 a.m. Both services will be held at St. Patrick catholic church 1058 West 400 South. Committal Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Ave. & 'T' Street.\r\nSemper Fi "Oorah"\r\n \r\n\r\n
