Albert Emilio Martinez's Obituary
Albert Emilio Martinez, 86 years old, welcomed by loved ones to the Kingdom of Heaven on July 27, 2023 blessed with family at his side. Albert was born on January 3,1937 raised in Grand Junction, CO. before relocating to Salt Lake City, Utah with family.
Albert being a recognized and respected Veteran having honorably serving active duty in the
US Army Combat division during the Korean War Era.
Al graduated and went on to study in Auto Mechanics at Salt Lake Trade earned his State Board Certification and began his career as owner/operator with his brother and partner Alfred acquired a local garage shop and eventually having a long, rewarding career with the USPS to retirement. Al continued his active career for South Jordan School District several more years.
Albert loved his boys, he was a car enthusiast and enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, billiards and was a highly skilled league bowler. Albert scored a perfect 300 game and was awarded with a 300 RING one of his many proud accomplishments. Being of an adventurous nature he traveled the world extensively while living the life of the Well Cruised. Being an avid fan with total love and knowledge of many sports was fortunate enough to attend many home games watching from the luxury box and his highlight was watching games with his sons and sister Irene.

Our beloved Son, Brother, Father and Grandfather is survived by his daughter, Helene LeFevre, and Brother Alfred J.(Evon) Martinez SLC., Sister Irene M. Smith Tooele Sister Margret M. Murphy Tooele and sister Ruby M.(James) Martinez Tooele. Grandchildren Jody Gutierrez (Kevin) Crocheron, Alysia and Steven Tyler LeFevre, Chelsie Marie and Jake Albert Martinez plus a lot of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his Heavenly Wife Helen Marie Lopez, Sons Monte Albert and Joel Paul Martinez, Parents Joseph Lee & Eugenia Caravaial Martinez, Brothers Demetrio A (Dorothy) & Donald J (Celia) Martinez, Sister Toni Cruz Robinett and many more loved ones.
Services will be held on Monday, August 7th, 2023 at St Martin De Porres Catholic Church located at 4914 S 2200 W, Taylorsville, UT 84129. A Viewing will be held at 10:00 am with a Rosary/Vigil at 10:30 and a Celebratory Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow at 12:30 pm at the Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park located at 17111 S Camp Williams Rd, Bluffdale, UT.
Funeral repast to follow at St Martin De Porres Church Banquet Hall.
