Alfonso Deleone Quintana's Obituary
“He was my best friend” - Desmond
Alfonso Deleone “Lonnie” Quintana left us to begin his new adventure on June 10, 2020.
Born in Salt Lake City, UT November 11,1974 weighing only 4lb 3oz. He is survived by his parents (Bernice Miera & Alfonso Quintana), precious and only son, Desmond Quintana, three sisters Angelic Quintana, Maria Folsom (Jeff) and April Valle (Adam) along with his nieces (Victoria, Kailee, Lucy) and nephew (Deondre) and partner Melodie Erickson.
He will be remembered for his incredible sense of humor and sarcastic streak. His ability to utilize sarcasm had his jokes sneaking up on you resulting in explosions of laughter. Deleone was the entrepreneurial spirit incarnate. His Real Estate Agent and Broker professions began at the age of 18. Also included were Concert Promoter, Bar Owner & Investor. He was a dedicated employee at Delta Airlines for over 13 years. Deleone valued education and went on to complete his Bachelor’s of Science Business at Westminster College and was in the process of completing his MBA.
The crowning achievement for Deleone was always the gift of fatherhood that the arrival of his son gave him. Married to Paige Williamson (Jake) in 2005, Desmond completed their family in 2010. Deleone’s primary life goal was to always be the best father to his son.
Deleone had an adventurous spirit and a never ending quest to see the world. It included visiting all 7 wonders of the world and 27 countries He traveled with his Mother and more frequently his eldest cousin, Anthony Davidson (Mindy). From Havana to Machu Picchu, Deleone and Anthony could be counted on for sharing their mischievous antics with family and friends. Deleone’s laughter at the retelling of these stories over a hot BBQ grill will be deeply missed.
His loss will always be felt at the end of a joke, the absence of his advice, and in the lingering smoke of a perfectly seared steak.
