"Alisa was a remarkable woman. She had an amazing physical beauty that she wore without conceit. More importantly she was fiercely intelligent, quirky, savagely funny and uncompromising in her values. She taught me courage. Those she loved, she loved ferociously. " She loved books and reading and worked in a bookstore for many years. Most recently she worked in the floral industry where she was able to express her creativity. She was a gifted interior decorator. She loved art. She loved animals especially cats and bulldogs, she was even kind to bugs which she would catch in jars and release outside. She loved camping in the Uintas, boating at Lake Powell and having shenanigans in New Orleans. Survived by her mother, sister, uncle and multiple cousins. Preceded in death by her father and grandparents. A Celebration of Life will be held at City View Mortuary, 1001 East 11th Avenue Salt Lake City, Utah 84103, on August 10th 2024 from 2pm until 6pm.
