Antonina Maenza Saputo's Obituary
1937-2018\r\n\r\nAntonina Maenza Saputo passed away on February 27, 2018, of natural causes. She was born June 9, 1937, in Camporeale, Sicily, to Vita Scardino and Francesco Maenza. She had three sisters, Lina, Rosa and Mary. She married her one and only love Giacomo Saputo in 1954. They settled in Salt Lake City in 1963. She leaves behind four daughters Gianna (Mike), Franca, Vita (Cliff) and Adriana (Juan). She loved her sons-in-law as if they were her own. Antonina was blessed with twelve grandchildren, Sara, Michela, Alexander, Jennifer, Daniel, Nina, Ashley, Brittney, Ryker, Victoria, Antinette and Matteo and eight great grandchildren, Violet, Ellie, Evelyn, Kayden, Troy, Lennon, Elijah, and Eden. She loved all her nieces and nephews and loved family gatherings, and the holidays were especially important to her. She was a strong women and taught her daughters to be the same and to always take care of one another. Many thanks to the staff at Highland Care Center and Valeo Hospice.\r\nA Vigil Service will be held 7:00 p.m. Sunday March 4, 2018 at Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 E. 100 S., with a viewing 1 hour prior. Committal service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday March 5th, at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Ave. & 'T' Street.
