Augustine Jimenez's Obituary
Augustine Jimenez, age 71, passed away on January 20th, 2025 at home. He was born on June 5th, 1953 in Orange Cove, California to Esperanza Ortega Costello and Jose Maria Jimenez. He was widowed by Carolyn Pitzak Jimenez on May 6th, 2011.
Augie was a father of two, Chrystal and Jason Jimenez and a grandfather of five, Alize, Joshua, Alex, Starla, and Isabella. Augie was the life of the party. He had the biggest heart and did anything and everything for anyone. He took pride for working at the railroad for 30+ years. He loved his trains and music. He enjoyed camping, riding bikes, his garden, and being around his friends and family and working on cars. One of the many things he did best was bringing family together. He was the glue that bound those together that otherwise would have not. His kindness was felt by everyone around him. If you ever needed a place to hang out, he was there. A place to fill your stomach, he was there. Your lessons as a father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend will be remembered.
He is survived by his kids, grandkids, Luna Jimenez (dog), siblings, and family.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Esperanza and Jose Jimenez, his wife, Carolyn Pitzak, his brothers, Richard Costello and Andrew, and sister Dina.
A funeral service will be held on January 23rd, 2025 at the Neil O'Donnell Funeral Home at 12:00PM.
