7/29/1917 - 5/28/2018\r\n \r\nBernadette (Bernie) Maria Jaramillo, 100 years old, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away May 28, 2018.\r\nBernie was born to Julio Archuleta and Caroline Randall, July 29, 1917, in El Junction, Colorado. She had 4 brothers Gilbert Archuleta, Raymond Archuleta, Smokey Archuleta, and Felix Archuleta. She married Andres Jaramillo (Tiofilo - deceased), and they lived together in Salt Lake City, Utah. Together they raised 3 children. \r\nShe leaves as her legacy 3 children: Leo Valdez (Luisa), Eremita Garduno (Cecil- deceased), and Paul Abeyta (deceased). She also leaves to cherish her memory 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 14 great- great- grandchildren, 2 great- great- great- grandchildren and 1 brother. Her family will remember her as a woman who lived life on her own terms and would remind you if you forgot. \r\nShe is preceded in death by Julio Archuleta (father), Caroline Randall (mother), and Andres Jaramillo (husband), Paul Abeyta (son), Raymond Archuleta (brother), Smokey Archuleta (brother), Gilbert Archuleta (brother).\r\nA Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Monday June 4, 2018 at Saint Vincent Catholic Church, 1385 E. Spring Lane, Salt Lake City. A Vigil Service will be held 7:00 p.m. Sunday June 3, 2018, also at the church, where friends may gather 1 hour prior. Committal: Mount Calvary Cemetery, 4th Ave. & 'T' Street.\r\nTo the staff of "Elevation" and "Life Care Center", we are grateful and thankful for the care, compassion, and friendship that was shown to Bernie and our family.\r\nShe will surely be missed, but mostly remembered. \r\n
