Carmen Garcia Espinoza's Obituary
1928 ~ 2018\r\nCarmen Garcia Espinoza, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, great grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away on December 20, 2018 at the age of 90.\r\nCarmen was born on August 13, 1928 in Dawson, New Mexico to Miguel and Eduviges (Eloisa) Soto Garcia. She had fond memories of growing up in Spring Canyon, Utah. She had two children, Loretta and Antonio (Tony) who she loved dearly. Carmen enjoyed her Mexican music, watching novellas, trips to Wendover, an occasional glass of wine, dancing, cleaning and spending time with loved ones. She was the sweetest woman with a hint of sass.\r\n\r\nCarmen is survived by Loretta Castillo (Phillip), Antonio Placencio; 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. Brothers and sisters: Richard (Sarah) Garcia, Bobby (Margaret) Garcia, Corky (Beverly) Garcia, Josie (Enor) Martinez, Helen Vigil, Margie Martinez, and Rita (Paul) Archuleta. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Deloris and Rebecca; and her brothers, Hank and Mike.\r\n\r\nViewing will be held at Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, Salt Lake City, on Saturday, December 29th at 10 am, with a Rosary service following at 11 am. Following the Rosary, a funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church, 1975 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City at 1:00 pm.\r\n\r\n"Dance with the angels Little One!"\r\n\r\n
