Charles "Chuck" Moylan's Obituary
Charles (Chuck) Moylan, 70, of Salt Lake City, Utah passed away at the
SLC Regional Medical Center on Friday, Sept. 24, 2021 after an
extended illness. Chuck was born on July 25, 1951 in Warren, Pa. to
the late Gordon and Mae Moylan of Warren.
Chuck was a 1969 graduate of Warren Area High School. He earned his
Bachelor’s Degree from Edinboro University, Edinboro, Pa. in 1973. He
held numerous jobs; working internationally for Timken Corp. as a
technical salesman, then more recently with Energy Solutions, Salt
Lake City as Safety Engineer.
Chuck was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed many fine hours of fishing
with his wife on the Provo River, Utah. He was also an avid ‘Hearts
Content’ brook trout fisherman with his close friend of over 50 years
Tim Olsen, of Warren, Pa. His other interests included his wife’s
beautiful art, fine music and guns.
Chuck is survived by his wife Susana, cousins Mike (Fran) Brennan and
John Brennan, several nieces and nephews and a great niece, Also
brothers and sisters in law and other family members. He was preceded
in death by his father, Gordon Moylan in 1951 and his mother, Mae
Moylan in 1991.
Chuck will be remembered as being firm and direct with people, having
a hard work ethic, a dedicated friend and loving the great out of
doors.
A memorial service will be announced in the future in his honor, and
donations will be appreciated to Trout Unlimited, ReelRecovery.org,
or at any Charity Church of preference.
