Cherish Jade Vigil, age 24, passed away on January 27th 2025 in Colorado Spring Colorado. She was born on October 24th 2000 in Salt Lake City to Joseph and Jennifer
Cherish loved everything about life. She was very talented in auto and medical instruments. Gifted in anything her hands touched. She noticed the president’s education award for outstanding academic excellence in junior high. She was awarded the gold lapel. In high school she was on the dive team and a dedicated team member. She graduated from centennial high school in Pueblo Colorado. She made many long lasting friendships. She was a true loyal person. Anyone lucky enough to be loved by her never had to question her intentions or loyalty. They were only true and pure. She took pride in being the only girl surrounded by three brothers. She loved helping others. She took a position as a caregiver to assist those who were recovering from traumatic brain injuries. Her heart was larger than life. She had a pure passion for animals. She also loved her sweet hunter, Her protector and traveling companion. She got to find the true love of her life in daniel. They had a love that was undeniable. They spent the past three years exploring and experiencing everything together. Cherish’s favorite season was fall. Enjoying all the beautiful colors and halloween. She loved the outdoors, looking for the next adventure. She lived her life on her terms and was a free spirit. Her amazing smile and presence lit up the world wherever she was. She always did everything to make us proud of her. Her absence on this earth is truly a heartbreaking loss to her family and friends. Rest peacefully princess until we see you again know that you will never be forgotten.
Survived by dad Joseph and mom Jennifer, brothers, Joey, Isaac, Emileo, Grandpa Lawrence and Grandma June Vorderer. Preceded in death by Grandpa Levi, Grandma Tillie, Grandpa Harvey, and Grandpa Sandra, Uncle’s Clarance, Leonard, Brent, Duaine, Michael, Aunts Sandra, Annette, and many cousins.
A viewing will be held Wednesday February 12th from 6:00 - 8:30 PM at Neil O’Donnell Funeral Home 372 East 100 South Salt Lake City, Utah 84111. Graveside Services will be held at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery February 13th at 11:00 AM located at 275 U Street Salt Lake City, Utah 84103
A luncheon will be held at FOE 1104 West 2100 South from 12pm - 3pm
