Christie Nicole Andrews,43,of Midvale passed away peacefully on June 28 2018. Born May 13 1975 to Michael D. Andrews and Cheryl Y. Andrews. Christie (Dede), as her dad would call her, was known for her big, beautiful, caring heart. She did everything for everyone around her, including animals. Her dream was to rent an RV and travel the whole world with her daughter Alexia. Even in Christie's work she dedicated herself to helping people with disabilities and a champion of the under-appreciated. She devoted her energy, love, and resources to her mother during her extended illness. She put time and energy into her relationship with her brother Rick helping him as they grew up together. Christie and her father didn't always have the best of relationships, but as the years went on they reconnected and created a healthy and loving relationship.\r\nChristie is survived by the light of her life, her daughter Alexia Grace Barnes of Midvale, her brother Rick Andrews of Colorado, and her doggies (her babies) Jinglebells, Buddee boy, and Oscar Doodle.\r\nShe is preceded in death by her mother Cheryl, father Michael, and numerous dog friends\r\nVery special thank you to Jessica, and other medical staff of St. Mark's Hospital for all their efforts and extra care that was given.\r\nFuneral Services will be held Saturday July 7, 2018 at Midvale East Fourth Ward Chapel 87 East 7100 S Midvale Utah at 11:00 a.m.\r\n
