Her honesty and loving kindness will be with me for ever. She dragged me to swimming a few time and I was always in awe how she swam smoothly and lightly across the pool. I am shocked and saddened to hear of Claudia�??s passing. Claudia was in my class at Cranbrook, and despite all the challenges we all faced trying to find our artistic voice, I can only remember Claudia smiling. \r\nMy deepest condolences to her nearest and dearest family during this sad time. \r\n\r\nI will remember Claudia�??s sweet spirit, and heed her advice about swimming.
Ken, \r\n So saddened by your loss. I never met Claudia but you always spoke warmly of her at our NY and eastern seaboard reunions.\r\n My condolences to you, and Cole as well as family and friends for your loss.
Our sincere condolences to Ken and Cole. We are so sad that Claudia is no longer with us, but now - and always before - we feel happy just thinking about her. She was a wonderful person. We met Claudia through common friends when she studied at Handarbetets V??nner in Stockholm and immediately became good friends with her - and with Ken. We have many wonderful memories from this time and also from our time together many years later when we met in Salt Lake City. We are reminded of Claudia daily as we have one of her paintings on the wall in our home. It is a great piece of art. She was very talented.\r\nLove Juliette (Lalla) and Bengt, Sweden
I send you a big hug for you Ken and my prayers for Claudia�??s soul. \r\n\r\nI enjoyed working with Claudia, rather intensely during my first 3 years at the U of Utah, while teaching beginning design (with her and Tom Kass). Claudia had a keen eye for design, sensibility, and no patience for bad work, poor commitment, or silly excuses from students (something Tom & I fully agreed with). She was totally committed to DESIGN, in capital letters. She also saw architecture with fresh eyes that were challenging but helpful to me. I appreciated her very much. She did have a difficult path in this life but also people like you that truly loved her beyond all expectations. So, in this sad time, there is something that remains and may give you fortitude: the ultimate committed love you had for and gave each other. Now in my 60s, I know how hard (for some of us impossible) it is to have such an experience in one�??s life.
With great sadness I extend my condolences to Cole and Ken for your loss. Claudia was a remarkable person with a sparkling personality. Her humor, and especially her laugh, will remain with all of us who knew her. May her spirit and strength, as well, remain with us all.
