I just found out that Colleen passed away. I had seen her briefly in June and didn’t know she was ill. I am shocked and saddened and pray for comfort and peace to be with Kirk, her family and friends. Colleen was a beautiful person inside and out. I’ve never seen someone love dogs as much as her. Our Miss Buttercup had the pleasure of Colleen’s company on numerous occasions and we never had to worry that she was being loved and cared for. Colleen will greatly be missed!!
Our dear Colleen... I just found out about your passing moments ago. I was reaching out to "book" you to come stay with our Lucy & Sadie in Sept .. having just chatted with you mid-June, yet I had no clue you were fighting cancer. You were always a bright light to our family & fur kids over the years. I'm so very sad I never told you in person how much you meant to me. Reading others tributes, I see that you were just as special to so many others who will miss you as well. Shine on my dear, you made the world a better place and we will miss your sense of humor and your love of fur babies! Our deepest sympathies to your family.

She was a tireless compliance and security leader, always calm and focused in difficult client situations. She always found a way to pass impossible audits with her creativity and ingenuity. I am so glad I worked with Colleen over the years and especially when I met her in person a few years back. She was an outstanding employer and ever better person and taken way too soon from us. Colleen was our trusted pet sitter for over nine years. She was such a kind, caring person. Our dogs absolutely loved her, and I always knew they were in great hands with her and Kirk.She was so good to us and was a great friend. I always enjoyed visiting with her whenever she came over to our house. We thought of Colleen as family. She will be missed terribly. We loved her! My condolences to Kirk and family in the passing of his sister Colleen. I went to St. Jude's Church in Murray with them. She always had a smile for everyone that she spoke to and was so willing to help with any of the Parish projects.
