Della Mora Bardsley's Obituary
Della Mora Bardsley left this earth on November 12, 2016 at the age of 90. She was born on December 16, 1925 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Isidore and Lucy Mora. She joined her beloved husband, Harold Bardsley who had passed away just 4 days earlier and her son Mark Bardsley who passed away in January 1996. When she was a young child, Della and her family moved to Salt Lake City, UT. Della had 9 siblings growing up. Of the nine, Jenny Mora is still living.\r\n\r\nDella has always been a very social person with many friends. She was always involved in various activities, especially with her Catholic church, St. Vincent's De Paul in Salt Lake City. She also enjoyed bowling and loved to travel and was an active member of the 49ers for many years.\r\n\r\nDella and Harold Bardsley were married for 67 years. They moved to Redondo Beach, CA in the early fifties. They moved back to Salt Lake City in the late nineteen eighties.\r\n\r\nDella is survived by her two daughters, Paula Hiatt and Lisa (Sam) Vargas.\r\n\r\nDella has 7 grandchildren, Jason Hiatt, Ashlee (Nikolai) Jensen, Ric Vargas, Nicole (Dave Gastelum) Vargas, Gina Vargas, Vincent Vargas and Wesley (Joanna) Bardsley. She also had 9 great-grandchildren. Nicole Hiatt, Cheyenne Peckham, Zane & Zoe Jensen, Glenn & Claire Gastelum, Kayli, Zoey and Cody Bardsley.\r\n\r\nDella was always a strong-willed person and was very generous with her family and friends.She will be missed by those who loved her and those who had the privilege of knowing her.\r\n Della and Harold together forever!
