Edward Lee Miller's Obituary
Edward Lee Miller, 78, passed away on December 27, 2019 at his home in Salt Lake City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo T. and Mae Belle Miller, and wife, Shizue and infant son, Joseph. He is survived by his brother, David Miller (JoAnn), and stepsons, Kelly and Chris Wallace. He has several grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Ed was born and raised in Brainerd, Minnesota. He served in the Army National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1969. He moved to Salt Lake City, Utah for his love of skiing and the great outdoors. He married Shizue in 1978 and raised his family on the west-side of Salt Lake City. He retired from Sperry Univac / Unisys Corporation after many years as a draftsman. He was an avid road biker, golfer, and gardener. Ed was known in the neighborhood as the small engine, mechanical repair man and he took great pride in his ability to fix things.
Please join the family at Neil O’Donnell and Son’s Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, Salt Lake City, Friday, January 3, 2020 for viewing at 10 am and a memorial service at 11 am.
