Edward Panos' Obituary
Edward Panos February 8, 1970 ~ January 28, 2023
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of one of the great ones. Absolutely a man amongst men.
Edward lived life with a zest that was unparalleled. He never met a person he did not consider a good friend. His warm personality and infectious laughter were felt by everyone in his presence, leaving an indelible impression on each one of us. He illuminated any room he entered, shining brighter than the stars above, blazing brightly before departing faster than we could have ever imagined. Family was everything to Ed. Growing up with 6 brothers and sisters, and Ed being the caboose, #7, Ed quickly learned that he had to do something unique to stand out, and that was, making his family #1. Constantly calling, texting, whatever means, you knew that if you had anything to celebrate, even something as small as getting an “A” on your driving test, Ed would celebrate with you. This didn’t just end with family, this love extended to all his friends around him, stretching around the world. And, if any of you reading this tribute to Ed, were lucky enough to be included in his “text threads” know how special you were to him. You know what I mean…those were the funniest damn texts you could get. However tough your day was going, getting that text certainly made your day better. Ed’s most treasured possessions in his life were his girls, Allison, Lauren, and Georgi. This is what made Ed get up every morning and fight the world, to defend his family, and make their lives a great one. Edward will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May his light continue to shine evermore through those whom he touched throughout his lifetime.
Edward was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church and a proud member of the B.P.O.E. - Elks Lodge 734 in Park City. He also attended Montana State University and was a Sigma Chi member.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents George Panos and Sally Panos Johnson and his brother James Panos. He is survived by his loving wife Allison Panos, their two beautiful daughters Lauren and Georgi and his dear mother in law Barbara Greiner. He was the youngest of seven children and is survived by John Panos, Stephanie (Ruben) Flores, Chris (Heather) Panos, Andy (Jenna Trimmer) Panos and Anne Marie (Pete) Griffin, along with his nieces and nephews and the many friends that Edward considered family.
