Elsie Ione Vigil Manzanares' Obituary
Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully on Friday, October 7, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Elsie Ione Vigil was born on February 4, 1940 to Carolina Romero and Demecio Vigil in Llano, New Mexico. She was raised in Copperton, Utah and attended Bingham High School. She used to dance on Utah Bandstand and would always win many contests. She spent most of her career working for St. Mark's Hospital--where she loved to be, and met life long friends.
Elsie is preceded in death by her husband Johnny, son Darren, her mother and father, many siblings, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends. She is survived by her son Rick (Lorie), daughter Christy (Joey), son Chuck (Cindy), grandchildren Alisha, Danielle, Evangeleena, Brianna, Johnny, Samantha, Chuckie, DJ and Catera. Great-grandchildren Xavier, Vincent, Isabelle and Quinn. She is also survived by 5 of her brothers, 1 sister, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be held at Neil O'Donnell Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 6:00-8:00pm with the Holy Rosary Service starting at 7:00pm.
Visitation Services will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Neil O'Donnell Funeral Home from 10:00-10:45am with Graveside Services following the visitation at Mount Calvary Cemetery and Mausoleum.
