Dear Yvette and family,
We the family of Eloy N. Martinez just learned of the passing of Phil, we are shocked and saddened to hear this news. We all loved Phil very much, he was a great man and a very special friend to our father Eloy. I remember the many times we would go to Wendover for a little gambling and fun it was the four of us, Phil, our dad Eloy, me (Linda) and my sister Suzie, such great memories to have.
Phil was a fantastic friend to both my mother, me and Suzie and in particular to my dad (Eloy). Phil and my dad would talk often on the phone checking on each other and just to have a nice conversation between friends. My dad would always end their conversations saying this, "okay mi hijo, take care and I'll talk with you soon". I thought it was so cute, they truly loved each other!
I know that my dad was probably over the moon to see Phil again and I'm sure he greeted him with a big hug and said "Welcome home Mi Hijo".
We a truly sorry for your loss and wish you healing thoughts and prayers.
