Francis Joseph Brennan's Obituary
Francis J. Brennan, devoted husband, brother, uncle, stepfather and friend, passed away peacefully at home February 6, 2018. Frank was born August 5, 1926, in Salt Lake City to Francis and Cora Brennan. He graduated from Judge Memorial High School and the University of Utah before serving in the U.S. Army.\r\n\r\nFrank earned a degree in dentistry from Washington University in St. Louis and opened a practice in Salt Lake City. The practice, later joined by his brother Paul, was a source of satisfaction to family and patients alike.\r\n\r\nFrank was preceded in death by his wife Margaret, his brother Patrick and his parents. He is survived by Beth, his wife of twenty years. He is also survived by Beth's daughters Robyn and Julie, his siblings, Paul and Mary Ellen and many nieces and nephews.\r\n\r\nThe family wishes to thank Brighton Hospice, nurse Debi Poulsen and the best aide in town, T.J. Marshall.\r\n\r\nA vigil will be held on Monday, February 12, at 7 p.m. at St. Ambrose Church. The family will be present in the gathering space at 6 p.m. A Mass celebrating Frank's life will be held on Tuesday, February 13, at 11 a.m. at St. Ambrose. The family will be present in the gathering space at 10 a.m. After the Mass, there will be a lunch served in the St. Ambrose Social Hall. Interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery will follow the lunch. Memorial donations may be made to the Utah Food Bank or St. Ambrose Church. Funeral Director: Neil O'Donnell.
