Jason Matthew Rivera's Obituary
To Know Jason is to know what true happiness is. He did not have an easy go in life physically and mentally right from the start due to various health issues, though he fought through them all and yet always had a smile on his face along with deep joy and love in his heart.
Jason's spirit was larger than life! No matter what set backs he had he never stopped dreaming and longing for all the things he wanted and loved. Jason had a childlike innocence that was contagious. You could not help but laugh whenever he was in your presence. His excitement and enthusiasm was for loud music, firetrucks, police, beads, most people, affection and don't forget the Slurpee's.
Jason is survived by his mother, Stephanie Frances Rivera (the youngest of 8) and a large family that eternally love him and with team work cared for him to the best of their abilities (Aunt's and Uncles - Victoria, Steven, Christine, Yvonne, Paul, Elizabeth and Mary).
The family cannot express the gratitude we have for the amazing home and care team that was provided for Jason, they are like family to Jason and the comfort of knowing he was in a safe, loving environment with all his health challenges was such a blessing.
Jason is joined in heaven with his Grandmother, Frances Elizabeth St. Clair Rivera and his Grandfather, Philip Joseph Rivera.
Memorial will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Neil O'Donnell Funeral Home from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
