Jason Robert Tiscione's Obituary
Jason Robert Tiscione died in his home in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 7, 2024, with his wife and his Boxer dog at his side. He was 53.
Born December 2, 1970, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Beloved son of Jack and Lynn (Robleto) Tiscione. Much loved husband of Naomi (Himmelhoch) Tiscione, married July 21, 2001. Affectionate brother of Bethany (Nick) Caviello, Myles (Newton the Bull Terrier) Tiscione, and Aimee Tiscione. Uncle to Jonathan and Christian Caviello, and Noa Himmelhoch. Brother-in-Law to Naomi’s sisters, Leah, Rachel, and Darah Himmelhoch, and son-in-law to Judy Himmelhoch. Much adored and sorely missed by his dogs, Mabel and Darwin.
Jason grew up in New Jersey, and attended Nottingham High School, where he won a National Merit Scholarship. At Rutgers, he earned a degree each in Physics and Chemistry, and won both the Chemistry and Physics Departments’ awards for best student. He taught himself programming, and was helping CVS to develop an AI interface as a software developer.
As you would expect with his background, he loved science, and teaching Naomi about it. He was fascinated by astronomy, but just as interested in politics and history. He enjoyed fiddling with his 3-D printer, teaching himself AI programming, flying his drone, and playing frisbee with his dogs. He also loved traveling through the Southwestern deserts.
