Jennifer (CJ) Gordon Stott's Obituary
Jennifer (CJ) Gordon Stott, born March 12, 1973 left this world unexpectedly on March 3, 2022. She is snuggling with her precious baby, Parley True Gordon and her husband Matthew Stott.
She is also preceded in death by her father Thomas Lake, grandparents A W Lake and Marjorie Lake and Edward and Francis Keller.
She is survived by her two beautiful daughters Rooney and Gracey (Grey) Gordon, Kathleen Wirth (mother) and Sharon Lake (Step mother), sisters Constance and Chelsea Wirth, Shanon and Kara Lake, brothers Shane, Derek (Cera) and Layne Lake. Also Sean R.Gordon and Jeffrey D Lundgren - two amazing men in her life who were always there for her through thick and thin.
She was fiercely devoted to her daughters and would move the sun and moon for them. Her love for her daughters was immeasurable. In the words of her daughters, "She was a wonderful, strong woman and was a good friend to so many. She was such a courageous, fierce woman that valued everyone around her. She was the kind of person that you could ask for anything and she wouldn't hesitate to help. She was as perfect a mom as anyone could ask for. She was accepting and encouraging. She cheered us on for everything we accomplished and stood by our side always. She loved us with her whole heart. She was our Wonder Woman" As one of her dear friends said, "Everyone needs a CJ"
CJ was passionate about helping the unsheltered community and providing them with Harm Reduction Services to keep them safe. She put her all into everything she did because she loved helping others and wanted to see them succeed. She volunteered as much as she possibly could. She was a wonderful friend to so many and will be greatly missed by her family and her friends in the recovery community.
A celebration of life will be held to honor CJ on Saturday, March 19th from 1:30 to 4 pm at St. Mark's Cathedral 231 East 100 South Salt Lake City. A private service for family members will be held at 1pm prior to the Celebration of Life.
