Jesus Manuel Garcia's Obituary
Jesus Manuel Garcia (Jive), age 83, passed away on September 21st, 2025 at St. Joseph's Villa. He was born on December 25th, 1941 in Salt Lake City to Juanita Hernandez and Manuel Garcia.
Jesse served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. He worked for the Salt Lake school district for 17 years.
Jesse was popular with the ladies and was married a few times. During his marriages he was blessed with two daughters, Trudy and Trina.
Jesse was a boxer when he was younger. He loved his oldies and lowriders. He loved to tell stories to anyone who would listen. Jesse was proud of his 27 years of sobriety. Jesse enjoyed fishing as a past time. He loved his family more than anything and was happy he could help take care of his mom up until he couldn't.
He is survived by his mom, Juanita Garcia, his siblings, Ernie Garcia, Richard (Sondra) Garcia, Diana (Farold) Adams, Gilbert (Norma) Garcia. His daughters, Trina (Dan) Quinones, Trudy (Jason) Martin, 7 grandkids and great grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Manuel Garcia, his sister, Rosalie Salazar, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
