Jimmy Fabian Govea's Obituary
\r\n March 30, 1963 - May 6, 2016\r\n\r\n\r\nOn Friday May 6th heaven received another Angel. Our husband, father, son, brother and uncle left to be with our Lord and Savior. As this was unexpected for us all his wish came true as he was able to go peacefully in his sleep at home. He was born on March 30th 1963 in Delta Colorado and was the youngest of five. Fabian's heart was one of a kind with a big personality and hospitality to those he knew. He shared with family and friends his love for fishing, hunting and camping and continued to do so with his grandchildren. He was well known and had a passion for his Mexican food that he made with Love. Fabian had a big heart and loved his family especially his grandkids Gavin, Siara, Juliano, Lilith, Mateo, Kailen and expecting granddaughter Hope in October. He was known for his large personality and always making others laugh. Fabian had a passion for football and played at West High school where he graduated in 1981. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Sarah Govea, his daughter Amanda (Juan) Rodriguez, and sons Fabian (Kalolaina) Govea, Isaiah (Josette) Govea , parents Mary and Juan Figueroa, brother Jessie, sister Candie (Ruben) Fernandez and many nieces and nephews who he all Loved. He is proceeded in death by his brothers Rudy and Pepe. He will be missed dearly by many and his legend will live on through each of us always. Till we meet again Dad fly with the Angels! In memory of his love for the Denver Broncos we are asking everyone to join us in wearing bronco colors or gear. Services will be held Thursday May 12th at 10:00 at Heritage Baptist Church 1502 W. Walnut Dr. Salt Lake City UT, burial will follow at Mt. Olivet 1342 east 500 south Salt Lake City, UT.
