In Dear Loving Memory of Joanne Velasquez-Gallegos
Heaven gained the most beautiful Angel, as God took you away from us needing you more than being in this lifetime. Joanne succeeded so much in life, being a mother of two Albert Junior Gallegos and Paula Gallegos. Becoming a wife to Albert Gallegos. Then widowed being with over 20 years with her dear partner Wilford Duran. Becoming a grandmother and great grandmother to her grand children Alicia Gallegos, Melissa Gallegos, Destiny Gallegos, Jessica Gallegos-Hards, Jesse Archuleta, Ofelia Lopez, and Sonia Ramirez. With several great grand babies. We will miss the jokes she made, the laughter she brought, her beautiful smile and soul. She was the best cook, and had the biggest pure heart we’ve ever experienced. She was a warrior in life too, overcoming health problems that tested her strength. She was very strong and overcame those battles. Her spirit was bright and golden. She loved being around her family, making people laugh, going to yard sales, cooking, going to play slot machines, visiting family out of state Seattle, always communicating with her twin sister, and being very caring with the biggest heart.
Her presence will be missed deeply sincerely, it’s heartbreaking that you’re now gone, but you’re now reunited with your daughter, husband, twin sister, parents, and many other family members. She’s no longer in pain, now relieved and she always said she had a gift, she was a pure gift in this world. May you rest peacefully, she didn’t want the family to be sad that she’s now passed but to be happy she’s not suffering anymore. Rest In Paradise our gorgeous angel. It’s not goodbye but I’ll see you soon. Joanne was born July 17th 1953 and passed away on February 3rd 2026
