Jose Pulido Sandoval's Obituary
Jose Rafael Pulido Sandoval, of Salt Lake City, UT, passed away on the morning of September 30, 2016.\r\nRafael lived a vibrant full life and he will be dearly missed. \r\nHe was born in Michoacán, Mexico in 1934, born to Emilia and Aquilino Sandoval. He was the youngest of one step brother and two older sisters. He left his hometown early on and migrated to the US in when he was 14. He joined the US Army in 1958 as a paratrooper, and was stationed in Munich, Germany until he was discharged in 1960. He worked at various jobs over the years including being the first Mexican American to be employed by Job Service. After his retirement, he moved back and forth between Salt Lake City and Curitiba, Brazil. He enjoyed spending his winters in tropical Brazil and country happing with his South American Friends. \r\nTo be around Rafael was always a fun and exciting time. He was a very charming and charismatic individual. He filled the world with laughter and smiles. He lived and adventurous life, from his time in the military to his various careers and lavish trips. He loved being surrounded by his friends and family. His life experiences too grand to be covered here, but they continue to serve as an inspiration to his loved ones to seize the day and live life to its fullest. \r\nHe is survived by his two ex-wives (Josephine Rubalcava, Vera Brulnje), his son Robert (Jan), and two grandchildren, Rafael (Amanda), and Roberto. \r\n"Helluva shot Rafael!" You will be missed. \r\n
