The Sanders boys are like brothers to me and their mother made them warriors and their father made them lovers. Joseph Sanders had the goofiest giggle, always. We would choke up each other with fun stories and bad jokes. I moved away by the time they were taking regular hiking and camping trips. I know I missed out on those fun nights when I would have gotten to know him even better and learned elements of stories I surely would have stolen or borrowed. I am going to miss those days dropping by to visit Joey, walking up the steps of their home and clearing the floor level when I would see him sitting there watching a show.
