Juanita Gallegos Sandoval's Obituary
On February 3, 2019, our father reached out his hand from heaven and said "it's time to be with me".\r\n\r\nJuanita passed away from cancer, at her home in West Valley City, UT. She was the first of 6 children, born on July 30, 1939 to Ross and Bernice Gallegos. Her early years were spend on her grandparent's farm in Olathe, CO. She later moved to Ouray, CO where she meet the love of her life and was to spend the next 62 years with Joe.\r\n\r\nIn 1968, they moved their family from Montrose, CO to Kearns, UT, later they decided to pack up to warmer weather in Mesquite, NV. She then moved back to Utah in 2018.\r\n\r\nJuanita spend most of her life raising kids, grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was employed as a House Keeper Supervisor for many years. She loved playing Bingo, visiting all her family & friends and her trips to Wendover & Colorado. She had an outstanding Angel and Indian doll collection.\r\n\r\nJuanita will be missed by all that knew and loved her.\r\n\r\nShe is survived by her children; Patricia (Fred) Cordero, Debra (Daniel) Keyes, Mark Sandoval and Tim (Tammy) Sandoval. Siblings; Jim (Sandy) Gallegos, Jackie (Glen) Jewitt, Janell Tafoya, MaRia Moxley and Jennifer (Mike) Panas. 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncle.\r\n\r\nPreceded in death by her husband Joe. Her parents Ross and Bernice Gallegos. Grandson; Jeremy Facundo Keyes. Granddaughters; Prudence Cordero and Daniella Lynn Keyes. Great grandson Tesla Sandoval.\r\n\r\nThe family would like to thank the management and residents at the Gerald Wright Senior Facility, Hearts for Hospice, Veronica and the supportive staff for their dedicated "Care".\r\n\r\nA funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, February 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, 1040 West 400 South. A vigil service will be held Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may call from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Committal, Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City.
