Kara Nina Johnson's Obituary
Kara Nina Johnson, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on December 15, 2025, in Salt Lake City, surrounded by family. Born on August 12, 1962, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Kara was the daughter of Linda Johnson. From an early age, she was known for her baking and catering, her love for the outdoors, and her generosity. She had a deep love for family, especially her grandchildren, camping, and her dog, Baby. She will be remembered for her big heart and the lasting impact she had on everyone who knew her. Kara is survived by the love of her life, Rick Johnson. And her four siblings, Rick (Betty), Bob, Mark, and Tanya. Her three children, Candice (Joseph), Cortney, and James. Her five grandchildren, Jenika (Pepe), Sylvia, Xander (Taryn), Ross, and Ricky. She was preceded in death by her siblings Chuck, Tracy, Bo, and Dale, and her Mother, Linda. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Neil O’Donnell Funeral Home, 372 E. 100 S., Salt Lake City, UT, 84111 In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help cover expenses in Kara’s memory.
