Keith H. Dibble's Obituary
February 4, 1927 - August 7, 2017\r\n\r\n"Everything's under control" were Keith's last words. He passed away on his own terms in his home with loved ones. With determination and commitment Keith lived independently with Alzheimer's. He maintained a positive demeanor and attitude, always cooperative and appreciative of the people with whom he made contact. Never a word of criticism about anyone or a complaint about his situation or circumstance.\r\nKeith H. Dibble was an inspiration to us all. He was a most honest, forthright loving and athletic man. A true gentleman to the end.\r\nHe and Bonnie Ashton Dibble (BAD) were happily married for 62 years. Keith peacefully passed away August 7 one hour after what would have been the 90th birthday of his beloved Bonnie. Keith & Bonnie made many lifelong friends from Irving Jr. High, East High and the U of U. Keith loved supporting Bonnie's many social and travel activities over the years.\r\nKeith loved sports, played football at East high school and went on to play a year for the naval academy followed by playing for the U of U where he graduated in electrical engineering. He taught many kids how to ski in the Deseret News Ski School and supported local ski racing for many years. He was thrilled to be able to ski for free at Alta into his 80s.\r\nKeith fancied himself a peddler selling industrial electrical equipment with his partner Dick Wilkins for 48 years from their agency business, the Electrical Sales Company.\r\nKeith is survived by his children Mark (Teri), Karrey (Doug) 4 grandchildren and 2 3/4 great grandchildren.\r\nA viewing and visitation will be held 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Monday August 14th at Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South Salt Lake City, followed by a graveside toast at Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Ave. & 'N' Street. A Celebration of a life well lived that evening at Cactus & Tropicals, 2000 East 2735 South, Salt Lake City, 7:00 - 9:00PM.
