Lily Rose Gaitin's Obituary
Our loving mother Lily Rose Gaitin, passed away June 11, 2022. She was born February 11, 1932 in Walsenburg, Colorado to Daniel and Clorinda (Cora) Padilla Montoya. She married Arthur S. Gaitin in Salt Lake City, UT.
She had a variety of jobs, S&E Distributing, K-Mart, DuMac Printing and Restaurant Owner. One of Lily’s greatest passions was her service to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Eucharist Minister, Sacristan, and food pantry. She received many awards for her community service.
Mom enjoyed holiday family gatherings, birthdays dance recitals, softball, football, soccer, school plays and anything involving her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Judy (Gene) Webb, Art (Heidi) Gaitin Jr. and Jim Gaitin.
Grandchildren: Cari (Steve) Bakke, Niki Webb, Jamie Webb, Ondraya (Carleton) Watkins, Shaun (Emily) Gaitin, Danny Gaitin. Great Grandchildren: Courtney (Tyler) Gordon, Caysie Bakke, Jordyn and Kamryn Groce, Sophea Webb, C.J. and Tava Watkins, Kesra and Drew Gaitin, J. J. and Kayli Gaitin.
Great Great Grandchildren: Demi and Leo Gordon, Jackson, Jeremy, and Benny Gaitin.
Sister in law Mary Gaitin and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Gaitin, parents, sister Tina Dabalos, brothers Pete, Joe, Tony (Rocky), Mike, Bobby, Danny and Gene Montoya. Grandson Jeremy Gaitin
Services will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 1375 Kings Row. Viewing and rosary will be Monday, June 20th, from 6pm to 8pm. June 21st, viewing will be at 10:30am, Funeral Mass 11:00am.
