Lois Anita (Paskett) Redden's Obituary
Lois was born July 3, 1948 to Jesse H. Paskett and Esther G. (John) Paskett, in Salt Lake City, Utah. The light of our lives was taken too soon. Our dearest and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away on October 14, 2020 at home in West Valley City, Utah surrounded by her family. She married the love of her life Eddie O. Redden May 18, 1973. Graduated from West High School in 1967. Lois was a seamstress at MD/Vacudent for 30 years. She retired in 2002 to pursue her dream of caring for her grandkids. Lois wanted nothing more than to be a mother, she was blessed with two children. Once her children were grown, she was thrilled to become a grandmother. She loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. She was often called mom or second mom by her children's friends, and grandma by her grandchildren's friends. She was loved by all. She enjoyed a variety of outings with her daughter and grandchildren. Her cooking was enjoyed by all, and she insisted on building many wonderful memories with her family. Survived by husband Eddie, daughter Cheryl (Josh) Short, granddaughters Hailie, Caitlyn, Brooklyn Short, 4 sisters, 1 brother, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by son Jeffery E. Redden, parents, her nephew Chad Mayo, and nieces; DeLorraine and Rebecca Reynolds. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
