Tom, Pattie, Michael, and Monica; I just saw this. I am so glad that I stopped the house “announced” that winter day last year. What a nice visit I had with Margaret and Michael. I was amazed at how good she looked. My sincere condolences.
Pattie, Tom (Ed?), Michael and Monica, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Margaret. Living to age 100 is truly amazing! Your Mom had a special way of making me feel welcome with her beautiful smile. I loved visiting your 9th Avenue house which was always filled with laughter and love. I passed the kitchen window and she ushered me in to a cup of coffee and her honest and insightful observance of life. Knowing her has been one of the most positive and rewarding parts of my life.

I am really sorry for the loss of your mother! She was a very beautiful lady with a wonderful personality. I always enjoyed coming to your house when we were young because I was always greeted with enthusiasm by your Mother & Dad especially when Patti & I were on our way to the Golden Eagle Hockey Games. I have great memories of your entire family. I will keep your Mom in my prayers! I’m sure she is in the loving arms of your father smiling down upon your wonderful family! Although I miss you, everytime someone asks how i am feeling i will say "with my hands."
Whether it is "half past two" silence or wondering who is coming to the door when a fork falls on the ground, I can't help but smile when I think of all the cookies & gingerbread houses, games in the kitchen, mochas with whipped cream, watching you limp for firefighters at Smiths, making loud comments during quiet time at church, or saying "that's different" when I show you my new shirt. I love you wholeheartedly Grandmother. xoxo
