Margaret "Margie" Ann Friedheim's Obituary
Margaret Ann Hunt Friedheim, beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt, died at her residence in Scottsdale, Arizona on August 10, 2022 at the age of 79.
Margie is survived by her husband, Louis Friedheim; her five daughters, Jeanette Burdell, Cindy Fey Friedheim, Teresa Friedheim, Mary Friedheim, and Denae Friedheim; her 14 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and her numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her only son, Joseph Friedheim, this past April.
Margie was born on March 18, 1943 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to Nelle Katherine Shea Hunt and John Dale Hunt. She was the youngest of six children, with three brothers and two sisters. She lived in Florida where she graduated from Pahoke High School and where she met her future husband, Louis.
Margie was a long-time resident of Salt Lake City, Utah and Dallas, Texas. She was a devoted mother, wife, and homemaker for her family. Margie brought comfort and kindness to many through her dedication as an emergency room volunteer at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas for 26 years. She also worked for nine years as an administrative assistant at Kimberly Clark in international security.
A Celebration of Life will occur on Friday, September 2, 5:30 - 7:30 pm at Neil O'Donnell Funeral Home, 372 E 100 S, Salt Lake City. A Remembrance Service for Margie will begin at 6:30 followed by Rosary. Margie's funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 10:30 am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1375 Spring Ln, Holladay, UT and will be followed by interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 275 U St, Salt Lake City. All are welcome to attend any and all events.
