Margaret Patricia Seeronen's Obituary
September 11, 1925 - January 26, 2016\r\n \r\n\r\nOur dear mother, Margaret Patricia (Caputo) Seeronen passed away suddenly on January 26, 2016. Margaret was the ninth of eleven children born to Rosario and Christina Caputo, owners of the Caputo Grocery Store in West Salt Lake. She attended Onequa Grade School and West High School, and then the University of Southern California. On April 23, 1947, she married Tauno Seeronen at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Salt Lake City. Tauno would later become president and chairman of the board of the Truck Equipment Sales Company (TESCO).\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nAfter their marriage, Margaret worked for in an administrative position for Safeway Stores in Salt Lake City and, after moving to Idaho, for the City of Idaho Falls. Upon their return to Salt Lake she worked for the Addressograph-Multigraph Company and then EIMCO.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband Tauno Edward 1993), her parents, and brothers James, Roy, Dominick, Lee, John, and Frank, sisters Marie Jefferies, Hazel Caputo and Rose Caputo and one grandchild. She is survived by her two sons: John (Patricia), of Portland, Oregon and Mark (Shauna), of Holladay, Utah, one sister, Eileen (Willard) Tubbs of Manteca, California, three grand children, four great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews and her longtime companion H. Glenn Vincent.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nMargaret enjoyed traveling, golf and fishing. After Tauno died in 1993 she remained an active member of the Hidden Valley Country Club. Margaret was a devoted Catholic and long time member of the St. Vincent Parish. Throughout her life she was deeply devoted to her family and friends. In her later years she spent countless hours in the care and visiting of her ailing brothers and sisters.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nMargaret loved Salt Lake City, "the land of honey, milk and butter" and most of all golfing at the Hidden Valley Country Club, "another day in Paradise." She will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nA Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Feb. 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Vincent de Paul Parish Church, 1375 East Spring Lane 1000 South). A Vigil Service with Rosary will be held Thursday, Feb. 4th at 7:00 p.m. also at the church where friends may call from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Committal, Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Avenue and T Street. Funeral directors, Neil O'Donnell and Sons.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
