There is so much that one can share to highlight the life of a loved one who has passed and for our family it is an honor to share with authenticity. Our mom was a free-spirit, a warrior who had her substantial share of struggles and battles that took her places that most of us could not fathom in our darkest imagination. She traveled near and far, without ever settling in one place and always seeking her next adventure. To know her story, you would see love, kindness, strength, perseverance and a person who was relentless in overcoming addiction, loss, hurt and a harsh illness that she battled with dignity and grace. In all her adversity, she always smiled with eyes that sparkled and had an intense love for Jesus, her Lord and Savior; “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus” was her coined proverb.
Mom, you are one of a kind and in your own special way gave your children a place in this world to build admirable character, faith, wisdom, strength and courage. Your trials became our blessings in life to move with conviction, never seeking the easy way out and unwavering in our pursuit to do good by others.
You will always be loved and missed for the loving, caring friend, mother, daughter, mother-in-law, sister, aunt and most of all grandmother, to everyone. Your creativity and personality will always be remembered by those who knew and loved you. Your knowledge and wisdom will always carry on and stick with those who have had the opportunity to really get to know you.
To each person who truly loved our mom, we are forever grateful for the chapters that you helped create and pray for peace and healing as you remember and celebrate her precious soul.
Our family will be holding intimate, private services for our mom who will be cremated. Your presence during this fragile and sacred time will be felt through prayers, heartfelt wishes and shared memories. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
John 11: 25-26
Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die.
