Martin Joe Ortega's Obituary
Our beloved Son, Brother, Father, Uncle and soon to be Grandpa Martin Joe Ortega unexpectedly passed away February 27, 2019.\r\n\r\nMartin was born September 20, 1971 to Joe and Cecilia Ortega.\r\n\r\nMartin loved his family and friends. He had an unbelievable love for his nieces and nephews, especially his "consentida" Nettie. Martin loved his daughters whom he would always talk about and say how beautiful they all are. He would often say how much he loved them, especially his Olivia (Molly). Martin met Sherrie two years ago and was planning on getting married. He was also expecting his first grandchild and was very excited. This was the happiest time of his life.\r\n\r\nMartin loved going to car shows, going to Wendover, fishing, hunting and camping. He was a Chicago Bears fan. He loved to cook and barbeque. Most of all he loved being around his family.\r\n\r\nHe was close to all of his brothers and sisters. Each one had a special connection with Martin. He would help them with anything they asked. They all will miss him so much.\r\n\r\nMartin leaves behind his Mother: Cecilia, siblings: Linda, Juan, Carmen, Lucy and Don, daughters: Amanda, Olivia, Kaylee, Taleigha and Lola. He is preceded in death by his younger sister Christy and his Father Joe.\r\n\r\nRest In Peace Martin.\r\n\r\nA Vigil Service will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday March 4, 2019 at Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 E. 100 S., with a viewing 1 hour prior.
