Michael Hamilton
To the Spencer family,\r\n\r\nMy deepest sympathy to you all. I went to school with Michael from elementary, junior and senior high school. The Spencer boys were a standout out family in athletics and academically sound. I grew up in the Grandee apartments adjacent to Long Fellow elementary school. One story I never forget and I often share it with my family of an event in the 3rd grade. Our teacher Mr Madeno would assign weekly task to students. Even though it was not my turn to erase the chalk board he asked me to do so and which I did. When heading home I turned around and noticed I was being followed by two boys( Michael and Lonnie Crawford). Well Lonnie was upset that I erased the board when he was assigned for that week. I stopped to encounter them, Lonnie was ready to fight. I was ready to handle this right then and there. We faced each other and Michael put a twig on my shoulder for Lonnie to knock it off to commence the fight and it was on. It did not last long and I prevailed. I later went on to play pop warner football with Michael in the 9 grade( where I would hear the coach say I was the hardest hitting player on the team, even though one of the lightest in weight). Michael went on to do great things and I did too with Gods grace and protection.\r\n\r\nWe all missed those days and friends who contribute to the beautiful memory of how we were molded and shaped with Gods protection. May God always keep and protect you with his mercy and grace.\r\n\r\nGod Bless\r\nSabbath Shalom
