From a young little boy there are many lessons taught. Fight for your rights… as the son of a poor Russian immigrant we had to stick together. Taught us how to box, wrestle, gymnastics. Support your self and get an education…. We sold rabbits and ducks on the street corner to make a dollar. It wasn’t easy and taught us to support ourselves. If we borrowed money we always had to pay him back. Nothing was free. What an example of an intellectual he was. Always helped us with our school work and made sure we excelled. I remember going to Eimco with him often and watching him work! Amazing! He even got me a job in the shops grinding the welds inside these huge tanks. I was so proud to work with my Dad. Gave us lessons in water skiing, snow skiing. He was so proud when I finally learned how to slalom water ski. Fishing….He would take us to Flaming Gorge and we would fish in the rain! Nothing stopped us. Hunter…. Loved to hunt deer, Doves etc. Rob and I were taught as little boys how to clean them. Super tough wrestler and expected us to be the best at it! Even after working out in school he made me come home and run 5 miles to give me an edge on my opponents. I could go on forever but I must get ready for work. I started to call him yesterday on my way to Costco as I always did. I will miss you Dad. Look forward to seeing you again and we can give each other a big hug and say…..Kim what took you so long! Let’s go waterskiing! Love Always.
