Robert (Bob) Chiodo's Obituary
Bob has gone to be with the Lord Jesus Christ.\r\nBob was born on 10/3/1942 to Joseph and Frances Barber Chiodo. He graduated from West High School, class of 1960 and proudly served in the US Navy. He worked for the University of Utah Credit Union (Executive VP) and as President of the Utah Oil Workers Credit Union. He was a member of the Ute Conference Executive Board (Executive VP) and served as President of the West District of the Ute Conference for 18 years. He also coached in the District for 30 years. Bob was a volunteer coach at West High School and received the Distinguished Service award from the Utah Sports Hall of Fame. He served in many capacities in his parishes including Senior Lunch Director at St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Bob is survived by his sister-in-law Diane Chiodo, nephews Mike (Amy) Chiodo and David Chiodo, 3 great nieces, 2 great nephews and 5 great-great nephews and 1 great-great niece. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Joe Chiodo and nephew Rob Chiodo. A Memorial Mass will be said on Friday May 18th at 12 noon at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 1040 West 400 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. Additionally, a memorial Mass will be said on Thursday May 24th at 10 am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2575 West El Campo Grande, North Las Vegas, NV 89031. Please no flowers instead make a contribution to the St John Neumann Building Fund, 2575 West El Campo Grande, North Las Vegas, NV 89031.
